Our toes have been busy!!

It's home improvement time!

we painted our bedroom and had new carpet installed in the master bedroom and the office. By the way, we bought the dresser from a yard sale and stripped it down so it would look rustic country. We think it's rather cool.

We need to line our gravel path so the gravel stays in place.

We filled Wesley's sand box and got it ready for him to play in .... it's not too far from Mommy's new hammock so she can lie there with the baby while Wesley builds forts.

We put in two new hosta beds to separate our lawn space from our more natural tree space. It's a beautiful barrier. The gravel path divides the beds and leads to the back fence gate. I planted two hydrangeas near the gravel path.

this is a natural bar placed between two trees. Patrick put in a hook and we sometimes hang a hammock swing there. We can also use it to hang a potted plant. The tree stumps are sitting places and fun things for Wesley to climb.

I found the French horn at a yard sale about 8 years ago. I bought it for 2.75 and always intended on using it as a planter. The iron cauldron below it belonged to Omi.
This is a bed we put in by our brick patio. The tree is a crape myrtle.

More flowers on our deck :)
