You can see in this picture of Wesley that his cute curls have been replaced with a big-boy haircut.
I quite like it. I am reminded every time I look at him just how grown up he is becoming. And just how important it is for me to step back and relax when he says, "I want to do it by myself, Mom." Mom? What ever happened to Mama or Mommy? Where did he learn that word?
Yup, he's growing and I need to step back from time to time, even, and especially, when he doesn't do it the way I would ...
You grow, boy!

Had a quick moment to check your blog and Wesley is so adorable! Nick has similar waves/curles and I love them. :) I know...it's so hard to step back. I haven't been able to do it yet. :( Will write more soon! Going to give Nick a bath!
I noticed Nick's hair right away when I visited your blog ;) It's lovely.
It's hard to cut Wesley's hair, but when I do I love it ... of course then I let it grow out into a 24-7 bedhead mess again because I miss it when it's gone.
