Wesley's early birthday party (pictures are late)

When the entryway looks like this, you know your home is filled with joy!

When your front steps look like this, you feel hope for the future!

When this is your cake ... you wish your mom would just order from a local bakery.

And when your child is surrounded by laughs, you couldn't ask for more!!!!!

Looks like so much fun! What was the theme...castles?

My son wanted a "castle party." He had been asking for months and we told him that he'd have a castle birthday. He waited patiently and eventually that day came! The funny thing is that it all started when we walked by a "pink princess castle" cake at the bakery in a grocery store. I'm so glad I got away with the sand castle ;)

My cakes may not be the prettiest, but I love to make them. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of his first birthday "smash" cake. it was a duck. I don't remember what I did for birthday no. 2. Anyone remember? Oh yeah, I did cupcakes and put them in the shape of a train, again, not spectacular, but fun :)
