Working in the yard

I recently picked up a truck load of mulch and had a lot of help placing it in our flower beds (Glen, Patrick and of course ... Wesley).

Though Wesley's mode of transporting the mulch from the truck to the beds wasn't as efficient as the rest of us ... I think he had a lot more fun -- Go, Wesley!

Quick note: Patrick and Emily are going to see Garrison Keillor tonight at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. We bought the tickets months ago for our anniversary. The quick story behind this is that we listened to the show on our first date and have listened to it semi-regularly since then. There are plenty of Saturday evenings we are busy doing other things, though, so we miss it often.

For instance, last Saturday (after getting out of our three-day marriage workshop marathon -- another post in itself) we met our friends the Liebmans for dinner. We love the Liebmans! David, Maria, Noah, and Hana live in SC and we hadn't seen them since we left the area nearly two years ago ... yeah for medical conference that brought the to our area.

Another for instance, this Saturday we'll be away on a fun adventure, but I can't talk about that just yet ;) I'll update later so stay tuned and find out what we did!!!

OH, and feel free to guess where we are going in the comments... remember, Wesley loves rocket ships & other flying vehicles.

The Air & Space Museum in DC is the best place to go for that.
Have fun!
